We Need Shoes!

Unity of Springfield is collecting new and gently used tennis shoes for our unsheltered friends. In response to the Connecting Grounds Outreach Center's challenge to the community to donate 500 pairs of shoes, we have set our goal at 100 pairs to help meet their goal.

We will be collecting shoes through the month of May. You can drop off your donation at Unity of Springfield, 2214 East Seminole, Monday-Thursday from 10am-4pm or Sunday mornings 9am-noon.

All donations will be given to the Connecting Grounds Outreach Center, which provides food, clothing, and shelter to people experiencing homelessness in Springfield.

What to donate

We are accepting new and gently used tennis shoes in all sizes for men, women, and children. Shoes should be in good condition and free of holes, tears, or major damage.

How to donate

You can drop off your donation at Unity of Springfield, 2214 East Seminole, Monday-Thursday from 10am-4pm or Sunday mornings 9am-noon.

Why donate

A good pair of shoes can make a substantial difference in the life of someone experiencing homelessness. Shoes can help people stay safe, healthy, and mobile. They can also help people feel more confident and self-sufficient.

Your donation will help make a difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness in Springfield.
