Steps to Becoming a Member
If you would like to become a member of Unity of Springfield,
there are just 3 steps involved (per Article III of our Bylaws):
- Attend Unity of Springfield for at least 6 months;
- Complete a Membership Request Form (found in the office);
- Attend one 3-hour class to become better acquainted with Unity's beliefs, history, and our church's activities and opportunities for growth.
We want to support you as you begin to get involved
and get to know your spiritual family better.
Here are some great first steps a newcomer can take:
Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am or 11:00 am, and be a part of our inspiring and transformational Celebration Services.
Bring your children to take part with other children in age-appropriate activities, where they will learn how to pray, meditate, and live a positive and fulfilling life from an early age.
Take a class or workshop and explore Unity teachings, universal Truth principles, and your own personal beliefs more fully.
Join a Spirit Group when they are offered, to connect with a group of like-minded people and get to know others in a deeper, more meaningful way.
Subscribe to WINGS, our bi-monthly newsletter (it can be emailed directly to your inbox), or sign up for the PhoneTree or e-blast (automated messages which are sent out once a week). Stay connected and informed about the events and happenings of Unity of Springfield so you can participate when you find something of interest, and invite your friends and neighbors!
Volunteer and step into service in our spiritual community and/or our local community, and truly make a difference for others and our world. We have many areas of volunteer service so you can choose to do it once a year, once a week, or on an as-needed basis. Click HERE to see the different areas of service.
After attending 6 months or more, you can become a full member of Unity of Springfield and enjoy the perks of Membership, which is being able to vote on matters affecting the church, and being able to serve on the Board of Directors.
