Join us on Martin Luther King Jr Day as we honor the leadership and legacy of Dr. King with a march and program in Springfield, Missouri. We will meet at the Jordan Valley Ice Park at 8:15 AM and look for the Unity banner before setting off on a peaceful march through the streets of Springfield. The march will culminate at Gillioz Theater, where we will attend a short program featuring readings and entertainment to honor the life and work of Dr. King.

In the spirit of service, we will also be collecting hats, gloves, and hot hands for our unsheltered friends. This event is organized by Springfield's NAACP and all are welcome to attend. Please bring a warm coat and comfortable shoes, as the march will be outdoors.
