Unity of Springfield encourages every person seeking to have a deeper connection with their Creator to earnestly pursue educational opportunities whenever possible.
The Unity faith believes there are metaphysical meanings with the stories contained in the Bible, but these are not the only sources of learning for those on the spiritual path. Since Unity teaches that each of us is an individualized spark of the Divine, no one more or less, each of us is potentially a teacher as well as a student.
The beautiful thing about Truth is that it is unchanging. It is our understanding that changes, as we realize more of the Truth, but the essential Truth remains.
This education into a spiritual way of life begins early, with the same lessons adults are learning adapted for children to learn as well. The Junior Sunday School curriculum is overseen by the Minister/Spiritual Leader, Sue Baggett-Spears.
